Courtney Rosen Kovach focuses her practice on criminal defense. Courtney spent over 8 years as an Assistant District Attorney for Harris County & Fort Bend County. She spent the last 6 years as a Felony Prosecutor handling hundreds of cases on behalf of the State of Texas. Courtney has the trial & courtroom experience you need as a person charged with a crime. Courtney has tried over 25 cases as first chair, including murders, aggravated assaults, intoxication manslaughter, thefts, possession of drugs, arsons, and DWIs. She sat as a supervising attorney in over 20 misdemeanor trial cases in County Courts at Law, in which people were charged with DWIs, possession of dangerous drugs, simple assaults, and domestic violence charges. She also has extensive experience in juvenile law. Courtney Rosen Kovach has conducted multiple juvenile certification hearings, in which the State of Texas attempted to certify minors as adults for serious crimes.
